Our company has very humble beginnings; in 1984
our president Chris Tiggs was watching a late night infomercial giving by
Albert Lowery. With an
investment of $500.00, for the weekend seminar he began his real estate career. Shortly there after, in
spite of having a Bachelor of Science degree, from Wagner College he quite
his well-paid job with the NYC Department of Environmental Protection to
pursue real estate full time. Well
can’t believe everything your hear on those late night programs.
He made very little money and had lots of debt from rental
properties that had tenants who would not pay.
He even had a FORECLOSURE against him.
He continued to purchase single-family houses, for rental, but went
back to work on a conventional NINE to FIVE.
Spending every free moment learning the business of real estate, and
foreclosure assistance. In 1989 he formed Equity Source Consultants, Inc.,
and eventually grew the company to what it is today. In 2003 the company relocated
its employees to Central Florida, and now provides help to distressed
property owners across the country. Sometimes
that help comes from industry knowledge on what to do with the unwanted
property, at times it’s negotiating with banks to save a property from
